Supraseal: The Weatherproof Tape for Leaks, Gutters and Roofs
Leaks, drafts and weather damage are a constant on any building. Supraseal® is a self-adhesive, butyl-based weatherproof tape that's built to stand up to the elements and keep things sealed, from a split in a flat roof to a leaking gutter joint.
Here are some of the places Supraseal® is used most.
Repairing roof leaks
- Roof leaks cause water damage and mould if they're left. Supraseal® seals splits, punctures and failed laps quickly, so the damage stops spreading.
- The butyl adhesive gives a long-lasting bond that holds up in tough weather. See our guide to repairing a split in a single-ply roof.
Gutters and flashings
- Seal leaking gutter joints and outlets without taking the run down.
- Use it as a cold-applied alternative to lead flashing on abutments and upstands.
Windows and doors
- Supraseal® forms a tight, waterproof seal around frames, keeping rain out in bad weather.
- It also cuts draughts, helping keep buildings warm through the colder months.
Outdoor projects
- Garden buildings, sheds, caravans and outdoor structures all benefit from a reliable weatherproof seal.
- Supraseal® is UV stable and resists rain and wind, and it can be painted over to blend in.
Emergency repairs
- Keep a roll in the van for unexpected leaks and cracks, whether it's a damaged gutter or a lifted flashing.
- It's cold applied in minutes, with no torch or liquid, and the bond strengthens over time.
Which width do I need?
Supraseal® comes in 50mm, 100mm, 200mm and 300mm widths, plus a white 150mm x 10m roll for caravans and motorhomes and a black 200mm x 10m roll for dark roofs. Our width guide shows which to use for each job.
